Yes silicone is a very safe product and all our products are rigorously safety tested for use by children.

No the spade is a phthalate free recyclable polypropylene.  We tried a silicone spade and it’s not easy to dig with!  The reason we couldn’t produce a collapsible spade is our concern for children jamming their fingers in the hinge trying to close the spade so we felt better to be safe than sorry.

What makes the scrunch-bucket so special?

They thought it was about time for a durable, practical quality bucket. The result was the Scrunch-bucket that is made from 100% recyclable silicone and has a polyester rope handle. The bucket can be folded to almost pure nothing and is easy to bring to the beach, fit in a bag or a suitcase or have in the kid’s sand pit in the garden.
